The book was designed by Merle Armitage, and American set designer, tour manager, theater producer, art collector, author, and book designer, known for his take on “Sunbaked Modernism”

Sunbaked Modernism is characterized by natural materials, warm color stories, and minimalist forms.

Armitage was the first in his lineage of designers to reject tradition, and invent new design techniques, and is celebrated for his contributions in American Book design.
